  • Over 18,000 properties in Dekalb County have increasing danger of flooding over the next 30 years. We observed evidence of flooding in a park near our school, Ira B. Melton Park, and we brainstormed solutions to prevent water runoff. To remedy this community water issue, specifically the watershed around Druid Hills High School, we propose the installation of permeable surfaces on park pathways.
